◦E.G. Films that are filmed in Hollywood will slightly be funded by the Government.
}Shows that are made by Hollywood, they sell the rights to TV companies such as CBS. This money they then use to help fund the films. Example shows would be Two and a half men
}Film production companies they give Hollywood/the film-maker money to fund the film. An example of this is Universal Studios.
}Production companies pay for the actors, the crew and the equipment that they use.
Marketing/Advertising Hollywood}The film industry is mainly dominated in Hollywood by sony, 20th century fox, Disney, paramount, universal and Warner bros. through these brands of film they would not be as well known throughout the film industry without the use of advertising.
}For a film to make it in Hollywood they need to be a recognised film label supporting the making and releasing of the film for example any of the big 6 companies in Hollywood.
}For a film to make it in Hollywood the film needs to attract the audiences attention and to let them know about the film and what it is about in a brief set of time.
Hollywood's Audiences}There has been very little research on modern cinema audiences. Most research is based on an audience response to a film they have already seen.
}Hollywood Studios are always conducting test screening to assess a films potential box office success.
}They usually base production decisions on current trends or the latest movie star.
}Although this doesn’t mean that audiences will necessarily go and see one type of film and then want too see the same type of film made again
